Launch of Disney-Pixar - BRAVE | The Bagpiper

I had a fantastic opportunity a few weeks ago when I was invited to play at a prestigious event at Silver City Polo Park to promote the launch of the new Pixar animated film, Brave. This was a private event which was open to guests and Cineplex employees from all over Canada.

Wedding at All Saints Anglican Church | The Bagpiper

Sometimes it seems that some locations get more attention than others. Interestingly I had never played at All Saints Anglican Church before this year, while this year I have been invited there three times!

Highland Cathedral - Pipes with Pipe Organ | The Bagpiper

This short film shows how spectacular the Bagpipes and a Pipe Organ sound together!

Recently I had the pleasure of being accompanied by a brilliant organist on an old pipe organ. As you will hear, the two instruments blended very well together while playing “Highland Cathedral” and offered the perfect setting for the bride to walk down the aisle. The event was magnificent!

Claire and Kyle were such a wonderful couple to work with and a beautiful couple! I will be sure to post photos and more details shortly.

Virginia International Tattoo | The Bagpiper

After returning from a 9 day trek in Norfolk, Virginia to play in a military tattoo, I am recovering! Five days of practicing with over 850 other performers, and 5 full performances for over 30,000 spectators is a lot to take in.

Blaw and Squeeze Sessions | The Bagpiper

The 'Blaw and Squeeze' Sessions are ideal for all sorts of parties. The session is an interactive bagpipe workshop and it can last from 20mins to an hour depending on your requirements. It's ideally suited to groups of around 20, but can be conducted with larger groups depending on the circumstances. Ideal for corporate break outs, pre dinner drinks, alternative stag or stagette parties. The approach is very much tailored to fit the occasion.
